Door Type	Emergency fire-exit door assembly designed to enable rapid, secure egress during emergencies, available in hinged, sliding, and swing configurations.
Primary Application	Stairwells, corridors, exit routes, commercial buildings, educational institutions, theaters, and public facilities where safe evacuation is critical.
Fire Rating	Constructed as fire-resistant assemblies: minimum 60 minutes for ≤ 3 storeys, and 120 minutes for ≥ 4 storey buildings. Customization can goes up to 240 minutes.
Minimum Width	At least 32 inches clear opening (≈ 800 mm) for wheelchair access; in smaller rooms, minimum width may reduce to 28 inches.
Door Swing	Side-hinged doors that must swing in the direction of exit travel when serving more than 50 occupants or high-hazard zones.
Compliance & Standards	Compliant with OSHA 1910.36 exit-route requirements, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code guidance, and IBC/OSHA standards for accessible egress.

Operation Type	Manual operation with panic hardware (crash bar) for effortless usage during emergencies. Panic bars cover half the door width and require ≤ 15 lb (≈ 67 N) to activate.
Self-Closing & Detents	Doors come in self-closing or hold-open via mechanisms that release on fire alarm or loss of power.
Access Restrictions	Unlockable from inside at all times without special tools or keys. No alarms or delays preventing emergency exit.
Pathway Requirements	Paths to exit must be permanent, unobstructed, at least 28 inches wide, free of obstructions and signage; exit discharge must lead directly to a safe external area.
Emergency Integration	Doors must integrate with lighting, exit signage, fire alarm systems, and any relevant building management systems.
